Through expansive cedar windows, vibrant flower beds beckon, inviting contemplation. Two sheepskin chairs offer a cozy retreat to sink into, each chair meticulously hand made by our sister company “Blue Rhino Africa,” a perfect perch for quiet reflection. The ensuite bathroom, a sanctuary of tranquility, boasts a deep, cast-iron clawfoot tub. A home away from home, where luxury meets comfort.
Mukima will provide an all natural & organic botanical shampoo, conditioner, shower wash and soap for you to indulge in during your stay. This also helps keep their water tables and environment free of chemicals.
Wild Poetry
Found on the ground floor, at the back of the house. An all time favourite guest retreat, perhaps so for its generous proportions and enchanting views framed by huge cedar framed windows out into the vibrant flowerbeds where a feathered family serenades the dawn, sipping nectar with joyous abandon. Sink into the comfy sofa, lulled by nature's tranquil rhythm and feel stress melt away.
One may only be tempted to trade nature’s theatre with the calling of a warm embrace in the deep, iron clawfoot tub. A sanctuary for solitude, where candlelight dances and bubbles carry a calming scent of nature’s botany. Dotted on the walls are verses and poems penned by the founder’s daughter, Anna Campbell, her words are all inspired from walks in the sanctuary's fauna and flora. Anna continues to nourish the house as a tribute to her mother's legacy and Mukima's enduring spirit.
