Once Upon A Thyme
Found on the ground floor in the middle of the house.A bibliophile's dream, this expansive ground-floor haven is adorned with walls of embedded books, each a portal to a different world. A plush sofa invites leisurely reading, while a large window frames vibrant flower beds. A walk-through wardrobe leads to a serene ensuite, where a bronze shower and spacious facilities offer a tranquil retreat.

Wild Thyme
Found on the first floor at the back of the house. There is an instant feeling of grandeur when we step into Wild Thyme. It’s rich green walls contrasted with the natural rock walls creates a very exotic feel. We grow thyme in our organic farm - it's a kitchen and family favourite herb. The view out the large cedar framed window looks over our herb bushes, gardens and in the distance our tennis pavilion. Two unique hide sling chairs hand made by creative sister company “Blue Rhino Africa,” these offer a front seat to nature’s vistas and birdsong, a writing desk and a wardrobe are found adjacent.

Wild Mint
Found on the first floor at the back of the house. Wild Mint feels so like home, we all find it hard to leave. With a King Bed, desk, wardrobe and two antique beautiful arm chairs and table to gaze out the window in with your morning cuppa. This room, in name and colour, reflects our acres of wild mint that grows at the end of the Nature Sanctuary towards Mt Kenya. We use this organic mint in our cooking, water and tea. It is one of our favourite discoveries on the property when we became her guardians, and a beautiful example of mother nature's abundance and gifts that she offers when she is cared for.
