Travel Notice: 42 Acres

They have 2 entrances, you will be coming to the Hermitage entrance. The site is large and it is a 20 minute walk from one side to the other.

Directions to Hermitage Entrance:

Search metals.hazel.noon within the What3Words app, or click on the link. This will take you directly to the junction to turn off the road, where you will see a large oak sign with ‘Hermitage at 42 Acres’ in white writing. Keep following the main track, through the gates and over the small bridge until you reach the main courtyard and car park.

Please do not use the postcode for directions as it will send you to the wrong location. Either search for the entrance you need ‘The Hermitage’ or ’42 Acres’ or better still, use the what3words provided above.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible while maintaining the financial health of our business. Please review our cancellation terms below:

Cancellations 30 Days or More Before the Retreat Start Date:

• Full refund.

Cancellations Between 30 and 5 Days Before the Retreat Start Date:

• 75% refund, provided we or you are able to fill your spot.

• If the spot is not filled, no refund will be issued.

Cancellations Between 5 Days and 24 Hours Before the Retreat Start Date:

• 50% refund, provided we fill your spot.

• If your spot remains unfilled, no refund will be issued.

Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours Before the Retreat Start Date:

• No refund will be issued.

No-Shows or Early Departures:

• No refunds or credits will be provided for no-shows or early departures during the retreat.

Illness or Accident Policy

We understand that unexpected situations such as illness or accidents may prevent you from attending the retreat. Our goal is to offer flexibility in these situations, while also ensuring the financial health of our business. Please review the options available below:

For Illness or Accident Reported More Than 5 Days Before the Retreat:

• If you notify us 5 days or more prior to the retreat start date due to illness or accident, you will have the option to:

  • Receive a 50% refund, or

  • Transfer your booking to a future retreat within 12 months (subject to availability).

For Illness or Accident Reported Less Than 5 Days Before the Retreat:

• If you notify us less than 5 days before the retreat due to illness or accident:

  • No refunds will be issued, but we will offer a credit toward a future retreat, valid for 12 months (subject to availability), provided we receive appropriate medical documentation.

In Case of Illness or Accident During the Retreat:

• Should illness or an accident occur during the retreat, no refunds will be issued for early departure. However, we will do our best to provide assistance and ensure your safety during the retreat.

Cancellation by Hideout Retreats:

We reserve the right to cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances or if the minimum number of participants is not met. In the event we must cancel the retreat, you will have the option to:

1. Receive a Full Refund:

   • A full refund of all payments made to us.

2. Transfer to Another Retreat:

   • Transfer your payment to another retreat scheduled within 12 months.

We are not responsible for any costs associated with travel or accommodations not booked directly through our retreat.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events, including cancellations, medical emergencies, or delays. This helps ensure that you’re protected, no matter what happens.
