Designed for deep rest and renewal, this retreat weaves together well-being, nature connection, and meaningful environmental change.

Join us for a 3-night Hideout Retreat at 42 Acres Estate, an oasis where restoration and connection come naturally. From 5pm Thursday 23rd to noon Sunday 26th, immerse yourself in a journey hosted by Hideout Retreats founder, Goldie. Blending yoga, sound, and mindful exploration in the embrace of nature.

42 Acres is a sanctuary for rest, reflection and reconnection with nature. Set within 700 acres of ancient woodland, wild meadows and flowing rivers in Somerset, it offers understated luxury infused with a deep respect for the land. Rooted in principles of harmony, co-creation and holistic living, 42 Acres is a place to slow down, nourish yourself, and experience the quiet wisdom of the natural world.

    Inside their consciously-restored, 15th century Hermitage. You’ll find understated luxury and timeless simplicity – natural light, real fires, soft touches, and far-reaching views down to the 7-acre lake.

    2x Super King, 4x King & 1x Twin Room - all with ensuites.

    Monks Hatch

    This consciously-converted period coach house offers elegant simplicity throughout with large, light, triple aspect rooms, exposed stonework and beautiful architectural details. Here,  attention to detail, an eye for beauty and immaculate execution come together to lift the quality of the space.

  • The Library Barn

    Library Barn is simply beautiful – having been sympathetically designed with wonderful features and eclectic details to surprise and delight.

Getting to 42 Acres

Travel Notice: 42 Acres

They have 2 entrances, you will be coming to the Hermitage entrance. The site is large and it is a 20 minute walk from one side to the other.

Directions to Hermitage Entrance:

Search metals.hazel.noon within the What3Words app, or click on the link. This will take you directly to the junction to turn off the road, where you will see a large oak sign with ‘Hermitage at 42 Acres’ in white writing. Keep following the main track, through the gates and over the small bridge until you reach the main courtyard and car park.
